Leon Burks, Jr- Founder
Dr. Leon Burks Jr. is the founder and principal of LP Venture Group, a strategic investment and acquisitions firm built on discipline, foresight, and legacy stewardship. A seasoned portfolio strategist and deal architect, Dr. Burks specializes in transforming undervalued businesses into high-performing, generational assets.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Dr. Burks embodies the academy’s timeless code of Duty, Honor, Country. These principles anchor his leadership and guide every investment decision, balancing courage with calculation, and ambition with accountability.
Holding a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and advanced credentials including PfMP®, PMP®, CSPO®, and Lean Portfolio Management, he has advised institutions, founders, and family offices on strategic growth, portfolio design, and sustainable ownership.
